Resources for former emergency service responders
Find mental health resources and support services for former emergency services personnel and their loved ones.
Overview
Explore external resources, support services, and practical information to help maintain wellbeing after leaving the emergency services.
If you are in crisis or life is at risk - call 000 or go straight to emergency
If you or someone you know needs support with their mental health, there are many local, telephone and online services available to you.
Any support service or app you engage with external to AT & DPFEM should be based on your own level of assessment for your individual needs. The service providers listed below may assist in your research, but do not represent a recommendation from AT & DPFEM. We recommend discussing your wellness plan with your GP or mental health professional. Healthdirect can help you find a GP if you don't currently have one and FindHelpTas is a useful search engine across a number of different categories including mental health.
